CELEBRITY Justin Trudeau
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in India on official visit, but that doesn’t mean he missed the women’s hockey gold medal game between Canada and the United States at the Winter Olympics, which ended in a loss for Canada. In fact, he was well-accompanied by four-time Olympic gold medallist and former Team Canada captain Hayley Wickenheiser.
“Caught the shootout with @wick_22,” tweeted Trudeau. “@hc_women, you’re the pride of this country and you had a fantastic run. Congratulations & we’ll see you back on top soon.”

The former athlete has been in India discussing sports and women in leadership positions. On the day of the big game, she had earlier been with Trudeau at a cricket pitch for a press junket, but made it a point to say they were keeping track of the score.
“Hey Canada bc ur asking I’m in India w @justintrudeau at a cricket pitch!! The entire delegation including the PM are keeping tabs on the game. Go Canada!”
