Gwyneth Paltrow expects free labor for luxury Goop event
The health and wellness company calls it an "opportunity"

What would you do for a T-shirt from Gwyneth Paltrow's health care line Goop? Would you do 24 hours of free manual labour over the course of a weekend?
Goop is holding a health and wellness summit in Vancouver, Canada, and rather than paying for staff, they are asking for volunteers. The job posting reads “This position requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. Are you able to do this?” As well as, “Are you able to carry up to 30 lbs (14kg) if needed in order to help with restocking or product movement?”
To attend the Goop event, people are shelling out over $300 (USD) yet the company can only afford to give those running the luxury weekend a complimentary T-shirt?
This backlash comes just following a highly-publicized lawsuit facing Goop. The company faced allegations for falsely marketing "vaginal cleansing eggs."
Gwenyth Paltrow and Goop have yet to respond to the "opportunity" backlash.
