Obviously divorce is never the goal of a relationship, but people grow in and out of love, and sometimes splitting up can be the healthiest option. That seems to be the case with Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, who raised the bar for the 50% of marriages that end in divorce.
Instead of a messy, expensive battle, Bonet and Kravitz, who were divorced in 1993, are enjoying an extremely laid-back and comfortable post-marriage life. Nothing proves that more than the relationship between Bonet's current husband, Jason Momoa, and her ex-husband.
When Momoa hosted 'Saturday Night Live,' Kravitz came out to support him. The singer posted a photo on Instagram outside of Momoa's dressing room, and called him his "brother," which is slightly weird but mostly nice.
Then Momoa gave Kravitz a gift for his support: a custom wooden carved skull ring. But the best part is that Momoa had two of the rings made, similar to the friendship jewelry shared between young children, and he wore the other one. The pair looked chummy as ever posing with the matching rings, and Momoa wrote in the caption, "Mahalo Lenny for coming to support me."
While the thought of having an ex wear a matching ring with your current partner makes most people cringe, Kravitz and Bonet have remained good friends throughout the years, attending the 2015 Met Gala together, and not to mention parenting the beautiful human they made, Zöe.
Bonet and Momoa also have children together, 11-year-old daughter Lola and 9-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf. Their relationship is a bit of an unconventional one, though they do seem like the same free-spirited type of person. Momoa told James Corden in 2017 that he had actually fallen in love with Bonet first on television when he was eight years old, joking that he was determined to stalk her and make her his wife. He said he dreaded his hair for her, and when they met they both had dreads. Aw.
If you're still perplexed at Bonet's skill in maneuvering this triangle, you're not alone.
I need Lisa Bonet to drop a book, a pamphlet, an online seminar, a TED Talk - something. She got her fine man and her fine ex getting matching rings together and I just want to know her secrets. pic.twitter.com/s1P62RYTqc

Perhaps it takes exactly the kind of laid-back people that all three of Kravitz, Bonet, and Momoa are to let go of any negative energy from endings and to embrace all the people in your life with love and support. They are truly #DivorceGoals.
