The Canadian actor is set to perform May 10 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto as part of the 2018 Canadian Music Week.

Sutherland is well-known for his long acting career, which has spanned over 30 years and earned him a star on both Canada and the Hollywood Walks of Fame. The son of prolific actor Donald Sutherland, Kiefer has long been in the public eye and has a natural on-screen talent—as evidenced in films including 'Stand By Me' and the hit Fox series '24.' Yet his heart yearns for something entirely different: country music.

In 2016, Sutherland released his first studio album, 'Down in a Hole,' which features singles like 'Not Enough Whiskey' and 'Can't Stay Away.' His country crooning has gained a decent following and the performer is now on tour across North America.

Sutherland told The Guardian that he's aware of the stigma attached to actor-musicians, adding, "I promise you, every time I hear someone talk about an actor doing this, my eyes roll in the back of my head, too. For me, though, this is something that is absolutely imperative to what I want to do with the rest of my life."

Campo obrigatório
