He goes by Matt Sadowski these days, but it was as Matt Austin that the Canadian actor came to fame on ‘Power Rangers S.P.D.’ (2005) and ‘Power Rangers Operation Overdrive’ (2007).
The first show debuted on ABC Family before moving to Toon Disney, where the second show also had its run. The two series were part of the Jetix children’s programming block, making them beloved weekend morning shows.
Sadowski played Bridge Carson, originally the Green S.P.D. Ranger, who was promoted to Blue S.P.D. Ranger due to storyline developments in ‘Power Rangers S.P.D.’ In ‘Power Rangers Operation Overdrive,’ he was again promoted, this time to Red S.P.D. Ranger.
Sadowski’s acting career never really took off after ‘Power Rangers,’ with his last major role being a 13-episode gig on the TVO children’s show ‘Taste Buds’ in 2008. According to IMDB, his last acting job was in 2010.
But the Toronto-born actor has since shifted his focus to writing, directing, and producing, working steadily since 2012.
