Dave Munday - Dave Munday went over the falls for the first time in 1985. He went over again in 1993 and in doing so became the first person to go over the falls twice.

Peter Debernardi and Geoffrey Petkovich - Peter Debernardi and Geoffrey Petkovich were the first to go down in a group. The pair performed the dangerous stunt in 1985 and lived. After this episode, the fine for daredevils attempting to go over was raised to $10,000 in an effort to dissuade other performers.

Kirk Jones - Kirk Jones of Michigan was the first person to purposely go over the falls without any protective gear. He survived and was later fined $4,500 for the stunt. He was also banned from Canada for life.

Kirk Jones - Last year, however, Jones attempted to go over again and this time the trip proved fatal. He died in April 2017 after trying to go over in an inflatable ball.

Unidentified man - An unknown man tried to commit suicide over the falls in 2009. He suffered from a laceration to the head but lived.

Unidentified man - In 2012, another unidentified man deliberately jumped into the Niagara River and went over the Horseshoe Falls. He survived with only some wounds, broken ribs, and a collapsed lung.
