CELEBRITY Eminem

Eminem wrote a targeted rap that was aimed at the National Rifle Association (NRA). On stage at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the rapper added an extra verse to his live version of 'Nowhere Fast' featuring Kehlani.

"This whole country is going nuts, and the NRA is in our way," Eminem rapped. "They're responsible for this whole production; they hold the strings, they control the puppet. And they threaten to take donor bucks, so they know the Government won't do nothing and no one's budging."

Eminem is one of the many celebrities that have publicly voiced their concerns over the lobbyist groups influence on gun control.

The recording artist's last line in the song called out civilian firearm owners, rather than the NRA itself. "Gun owners clutching their loaded weapons, they love their guns more than our children."

Eminem's performance came after he was introduced to the stage by Alex Moscou, a survivor of the recent school shooting in Parkland, FL.
