Georges St-Pierre posted a video to Twitter of his swim while at a beach in the Algarve. World-renowned for its warm summer temperatures, the same cannot be said for March swimming conditions. The MMA fighter learned this the hard way.

“I'm probably the only one who’s crazy enough to go swim in the sea at the beautiful Algarve beach in Portugal at this time of the year... Canadians are NOT afraid of the cold,” he wrote.

This explains where St-Pierre was off to in a rush on March 13. According to the fighter, he ran through Toronto Pearson International Airport to catch his plane.

“I literally sprinted full speed across Pearson airport to catch my flight - Sorry to those screaming at me to take pictures, I couldn't stop! Barely made it," he tweeted at the time.
