The 1988 Jets vs. Edmonton - The Jets faced Edmonton again in the first round of the 1988 playoffs, managing to eke out one win against Edmonton as the Oilers steamrolled the Jets on their way to win another Stanley Cup.

The 1990 Jets vs. Edmonton without Gretzky - The Winnipeg Jets faced the Edmonton Oilers in the playoffs, but this time the Oilers didn't have Gretzky.

Seven games - The series was much tighter this time, with the Jets winning three games to the Oilers' four. The Oilers still took the series and the Stanley Cup that year.

The 1992 Jets vs. Vancouver - As the league grew, so too did the teams who made the playoffs. Winnipeg faced the Vancouver Canucks in the playoffs for the first time in 1992.
