CELEBRITY Prince william

Yikes, Prince William just made one royal mistake. During an appearance at the grand opening of the Japan House in London, he mistakenly said Chinese food instead of Japanese food—and it was all caught on tape.

While talking to the Japanese school children who were practising eating with chopsticks, Prince William said asked them if they ate, "much Chinese food." Realizing his error, the royal quickly recovered, saying, "Sorry, Japanese food. Have you had much Japanese food? No? Not too much. Do you like sushi? It's delicious, it really is yummy." Nice save.

The royal correspondent for the Daily Mail shared the clip on Twitter, writing, "Prince William was in great form at the opening of @japanhouseldn - charming & engaging. But even a royal diplomat can make the odd bloop. Such as asking local schoolchildren at the event to highlight Japanese culture if they had eaten much Chinese food! He quickly recovered tho!"

Who else is craving chow mein? Oh, uh, sorry I mean ramen.

Campo obrigatório
