CELEBRITY British royal family

With the news of the new royal baby, all eyes are on Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. However, the private jet that was carrying Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to Amsterdam before their trip to Australia was struck by lightning!

According to reports from New Idea, "The luxury plane was hit by a spell of bad weather when the couple flew from London Oxford to Amsterdam to attend a party at Soho House."

A thunderbolt struck about 30 million volts of electricity on the plane's nose, which resulted in considerable damage. Luckily, the Duke and Duchess managed to land safely in Amsterdam. Their private jet, however, needed to be fixed and go through many safety checks. A different plane was arranged to carry them on the rest of their travels.

Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have begun their royal tour by visiting Sydney, Australia. With precious cargo on board, the British royal family and their fans alike are worried for Meghan Markle's safety while she continues her international tour.
