CELEBRITY British royal family
Meghan Markle may be the Duchess of Sussex and an international icon, but she wasn't always this royal. During her tour in Australia, Markle revealed information about her past that may surprise you. The royal's first-ever job was "taking out the trash."
Markle gave a speech to the students at Macarthur Girls High School, where she talked about leadership, growth, and humble beginnings. The Duchess reportedly revealed that her garbage gig helped mould her into the person she is today!
"You guys all remind me so much of myself when I was growing up," she told the students. "I went to an all-girls school which was incredibly diverse as well. I think being around such empowered young women, it becomes something that you all just grasp onto to understand your world. It makes me so emotional. You’re doing really, really good work and I’m so happy that we’re here. We give you our full support."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently on their 16-day royal tour.
