CELEBRITY British royal family

Thanksgiving is one of the most celebrated holidays in America. Whether it be the comfort of family, delicious food, or the changing season, the fourth Thursday in November is always a big deal.

However, for iconic ex-pat Meghan Markle, is celebrating Thanksgiving now inappropriate? The tradition surrounding the holiday goes back to the time of Pilgrims, who left England in search of new life and new traditions. Since Markle is now apart of the British royal family, the traditional holiday may be taken off her calendar.

If you were wondering if Markle was even a fan of the Fall holiday, here's the proof. In 2015, Markle posted a photo of her Thanksgiving turkey, writing, "Oh, that time I roasted a pretty perfect Thanksgiving turkey! The question is, can I do it again? The pressure is on!” Cooking pressure now pales in comparison the pressure of pleasing two entire countries.

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don't have any official royal plans for the holiday, fans eagerly await to hear about their international festivities.

So, the only question that remains is, what about the Fourth of July?

Campo obrigatório
