CELEBRITY Cardi b

Cardi B, in all her wisdom, has blessed the Internet with another piece of much needed advice: it's time to take action.

In a video posted to Instagram, she begins, "Hey y'all, I just want to remind you because it's been a little bit over three weeks, okay ... Trump is now ordering, as in summonsing, federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid."

She quickly adds that she doesn't want to hear about how Obama shut down the government for 17 days. "Yeah b***h! For healthcare! So your grandma could check her blood pressure," and so that women could go to the gynecologist without any problems (she used a few more expletives).

The rapper says that she knows a lot of people watching don't care about what's happening because they don't work for the government or they don't even have a job themselves, but she emphasizes, "This s**t is really f*****g serious ... Our country is in a hell hole right now, all for a f*****g wall."

But social media activism doesn't do much, and Cardi knows that. She also knows how much she doesn't know, but she doesn't let that stop her from trying: "I feel like we need to take some action. I don't know what type of action, because this is not what I do. But b***h, I'm scared."

Having someone be so unwavering, clear-headed, and humble would actually be a breath of fresh air in the President's seat, so it's not hard to see how people started to get ideas.

The hashtag #CardiB2020 is now trending around the world, with people looking to the strong-willed woman and musical star of 2018 for some political hope in America.

The 'Avengers' actor Chris Evans retweeted Cardi's video and wrote, "I love this. Thank you @iamcardib for giving zero f**ks."

She even has Democrat leaders buzzing about whether or not they should retweet her video.

Apparently Cardi isn't quite tuned in to the wide excitement surrounding her potential role in politics, however, as she tweeted asking, "Why am I trending?"

Well, while she gets caught up for the 2020 election, at least you can enjoy her new video for the song 'Twerk.'
