In a world dominated by technology, there is something refreshing about reverting to an ancient art form as way to celebrate a person's contribution to the world. From memorials to tributes to living legends, for years statues have been used to that effect. 

We are lucky enough to find fine works of art displayed all over the world, honoring different famous people, for different reasons. But the truth is that, not all of them are as good as one might think. In fact, some are really bizarre.
