Warning: reading this may induce a sharp pain in your abdomen. An Australian man just set the new world record for chest-to-ground burpees by completing a staggering 851 maneuvers in a single hour.

Charlie Gard from Tasmania took to his local gym to complete this epic feat, surrounded by a crowd of adoring and amazed fans.

“I did a few more than I did in training so I was pretty happy with that,” Gard told ABC News. “I knew it was going to sting a bit more if I went about it a bit harder.”

For anyone who has accidentally signed up for a workout class and has had to do this intense workout understands just how hard burpees are. Most sane people couldn't imagine doing more than ten let alone 851!

Owner of the gym, Drummond Williamson, told ABC News that to complete that amount of burpees, “It’s certainly going to take a lot of mental strength, and it’s definitely an expression of a tremendous amount of capacity,” he said.

Because completing this many burpees takes some serious motivation, Gard beat the record to raise money for prostate cancer research since his wife’s father was diagnosed with the disease.
