What will eventually span 14 acres, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will take guests to a remote planet where they can captain the Millennium Falcon on a top-secret mission, or head battles between the First Order and the Resistance.
Chairman of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge division, Bob Chapek, announced at the unveiling that, “This is the most ambitious land we’ve built to date,” according to The Verge. On both sides of the country, the extravagant amusement parks will each cost $1 billion to create.
