Paul McCartney and the 'Meat Free Monday' campaign have released a new film highlighting the devastating effects of animal agriculture.

The film, entitled 'One Day a Week', features McCartney and his daughters Stella and Mary, as well as actors Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone. The film is intended to encourage audiences to cut back on animal products and attempt to go meat-free at least one day per week.

In the film, McCartney says, "It’s time to ask ourselves the question, what can I as an individual do to help? Well, there’s a simple but significant way to help protect the planet and all its inhabitants. And it starts with just one day a week. One day without eating animal products can have a huge impact in helping maintain that delicate balance that sustains us all."

He also adds that giving up meat for just one day can have a positive effect on the environment. “It starts with just one day a week. One day without eating animal products can have a huge impact in helping maintain that delicate balance that sustains us all.”
